Krist Anthony Novoselic was born born May 16, 1965 in Compton, California. He is an American rock musician best known as the bassist for Nirvana.Since November 2007, Novoselic has written a weekly column on music and politics for Seattle Weekly's website. In addition to Nirvana, Novoselic has been active politically, including the creation of the political action committee JAMPAC.
