Hoobastank Photo Gallery Hoobastank is a band from the United States modern rock that soared through the song "The Reason" in 2004.This group was founded in 1994 in Agoura Hills, California. Hoobastank word derived from the word "Hooba" and "Slank". Both words are derived from the lingua franca while still at school. This band consists of Douglas Robb (vocals), Dan Estrin (guitar), Markku Lappalainen (bass) and Chris Hesse (drums). Hoobastank released a song titled debut single, "Crawling in the Dark in November 2001. The song soared up into the 68 position ladder Billboard Hot 100 and at 3 to pisisi modern rock stairs. The second single was released with the title" Runnung Away "which also penetrate the position to 44 for the Billboard 100 and at position 2 for modern rock. On the second album, song flagship "The Reason" explodes on the U.S., Asia and Europe.
